Definition
Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization or EBITDA. In general, EBITDA is used as an evaluation tool which essentially shows the net income with Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization added back into the calculation. Often used by large funds with respect to long term assets such as hotels to calculate performance
